This is an 1860 census for Rusk Co.

Rodisa Caroline Jordon (b: 1873) was the daughter of Joseph Jordon (b: abt 1851, TX) & Elizabeth Priscilla Smith (b: 1845, LA) ,,, both are buried at Rose Hill Cem., Kaufman, Tx. ,,,,,,, Their children were:

Mary Inazy Jordon (b: 1880)
Robert William (b: 1885)
Cid (b: 1887)

Right off hand I have no explanation for the difference in birthdate for Rodisa:
1873 & 1875 ,,,,,,,,, also a diff. for Inazy 1880 & 1882.

Rodisa (Granny Duck) had a family Bible and I think most of these dates came from that. I have tried to track down that Bible but can not find it. I !!!! think !!!!! it ended up in the hands of the Brown family.

Hopefully we will learn more.
