Hello, Research has progressed and NOW we know it is not OUR James Jones and family who originated in Culpepper Co., Va. though he did originate in Virginia........possibly Washington Co., Va. He migrated to Wayne County, Ky and lived on Beaver Creek. The James Jones of Culpepper Co., Va. ALSO migrated to Wayne County, Ky, and lived on Otter Creek. I cannot recall where the James Jones who lived on Elk Spring, in Wayne County, Ky. migrated from.....
