Insearch of distant relations to Jacob Jones who was born in 1790ish and died 1857 in Bala, Merionethshire, N.Wales. Jacob was my gggg grandfather. Jacob was married to Elizabeth Edwards in 1824 and they had 5 children (Mary b.1825, Edward Jacob b.1827, Margaret b.1829, Jacob b.1832 and Roger b.1834.

Jacob had a business (Believe he was a shoe maker) in the High street, Bala, where he and his family also lived.

Edward Jacob Jones was my ggg grandfather and he emigrated to Australia.
