Just beginning my genealogy search for Jones family line. Have very limited information. And would appreciate any info anyone might have that would set me on the right path. Heres what i do know..My Grandfather was Clayton V. Jones,
Born 8/9/13, in Rooster rock Oregon. He was a Triplett, his triplett siblings were Clifford and Clarice. He had 6 other siblings, all deceased, named Basil, lyle, Wilma, Thelma, Velma and Lowell. His father was Ralph Jones, mother was Effie Grace Smith-Jones. They spent a great deal of thier lives as fisherman on the columbia river in Oregon. Then My Grandfather, Clayton moved to Coos Bay, Oregon and Married my Gma, Blanche Philippi Chard. I dont know Ralph's parents names or effie's parents names.
