Thomas William Jones, 86, of Sonora died Sunday at his home.

Mr. Jones was a native of Gate, Okla. He lived in Sonora four years. He was manager at West Chemical for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Jones of Sonora; children, Ron Jones of Prineville, Ore., Patricia Busy of Lanesville, Ind., Donna Orbun of Bloomfield, N.M., and Debbie Applegate of Sonora; two brothers; two sisters; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. Burial at Carter's Cemetery, Tuolumne City. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Terzich & Wilson Funeral Home.
