My late father would have been delighted. I've found evidence that some members of the French Royal Joinville Family, were living in England at the time of the 1871 1881 &1891 census. From Stories past down through the generations The Joyner's, sometimes spelt Joiner, were descendants from a French Aristocatic Family. Indeed my father said he thought the name may have been Joinville, that there was a town in France called after the family. Are there any Joinville's out there today ? I'd be pleased to hear from anyone. Can anyone link the Joinville family to the present day Joyner 's.
