I am looking for descendents of Alexander Dunkeld Johnstone, who lived in Brentwood, Essex, England. His father was Alexander Johnstone from Scotland, I believe in the military. I am going from memory here, but ADJ was married about 1900 or so to Grace or Emily French, daughter of Edward French of Brentwood, a fishmonger (who may also have been a printer with his son Ernest). The Johnstone family hosted their cousin Roger Overett of South Africa when he was released from a German POW camp in 1945. That was the last contact with them to the best of my knowledge. Roger is a first cousin-once removed of mine.
