My great grandmother Betsy Johnson was born in 1884 in Arkansas, I believe the county was Drew. Betsy Johnson married a man named Percy Stewart who was born in 1879 in Drew County, Arkansas. I believe that they had 3 children but the I only know 2 names which are Percy (my grandfather)and Lonnie. I found Betsy on the 1910 census but in 1920 Percy was listed as widowed so I assume that Betsy had died sometime after 1910 or at least after the census was taken and before 1920. Betsy mother's name is Julia and her maiden name was either Hogwood or Hawgood, I am not sure. Julia was born sometime around 1863 and 1866 in North Carolina. Julia married a man named W M Peebles or Peoples in 1893 and married a man named Benjamin Jones in 1906. I believe that Julia parents names were James and Tempy. James was born around 1832 and Tempy was born around 1843, both of them were born in North Carolina. I've searched forever trying to find Julia marrying a man with the last name of Johnson but I have found no records. I'm starting to wonder if this Julia person never even married this Johnson man, but I'm not sure and I would really like to find out who my great great grandfather is. Thank you for your time!
