Y-Dna Testing (Jobe - Job - Jobs - Jobes)

As most of you know, I'm the administrator of the site,

Job, Jobe, Jobs, Jobes - Links to Great Information
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ajobebrown...

I'm also administrator of both the Job and Jobe lists and the Job Rootsweb Mailing List.

I'm presently working on a section to link from the main Job(e) website for DNA testing - especially those who have had a y-dna test and have a Job(e) surname and/or matched a Job(e) surname on a 37 marker test (being 4 off or less). If you've had a test, could you please contact me, PERSONALLY at ann@personainternet.com so that I can include you on this page.

I need to know your kit #, where you tested, if you're listed at y-search and how many markers were tested. Also, a bit about your lineage (male progenitors as you know of suspect) - what you know would be very helpful. Also, would need to know if it is ok to use your actual name or just identify you with a kit #.

If you've had a y-dna test and have also had a ff test - could you please send the kit # and where you had the family finder test also.

If you've just had a ff test (and females cannot take the y-dna test) - and show matches to Jobe - your kit # and where you tested and some of those matches would also be appreciated.

Remember - I prefer at this time that you write me directly. If you are thinking about having a y-dna test, please contact me also and I'll put you in contact with someone who can help in this and hopefully answer all your questions. Plus, you would get into the 'right project/group' where the other Jobe's are. The more that we have to compare with - the better we can interpret the results.
