I'm looking for information on/relatives of Vaclav Jicha and his wife Katerina Janda, who emigrated from Bohemia (Czechoslovakia) to Nebraska in 1881, then moved to Indian Territory (later Oklahoma) in 1887. Their children included James, John, Jennie, Molly, and Marie. Anyone know more about their origins?

Mark:
Jennie and Marie married Nemecek brothers. These men were brothers to my grandfather. I have quite a bit of
information on the Jicha's as well as a picture of this
family. Email me directly and I'll be happy to share.

Jicha is a very common bohemian name. My original surname was Jicha' and then changed at Ellis Island to Jicka. Then my grandfather changed it to Jicks to sound more "American".
