You mentioned something about your father's uncle Frederick who died in 1990? What struck me as weird was, my grandfather died in 1994 and his name was Frederick William Jewkes, Sr. (Born somewhere in the UK or Pennsylvania, USA).
My grandfather's father was also named Joseph Jewkes (very popular name I am finding out). We don't know much about him as he died very young in his 30's from Black Lung. He was a coal miner. I am not certain if he died in the UK or the US. My father is also a Frederick William (Jr.) and I have brother named Joseph Jewkes. Very confusing, isn't it?
It would very interesting if the Frederick you were talking about was my grandfather.
