I have pulled together some basic info in my family tree. Look up the "Kaufman Family Tree" (it's public). If you can't get into it, let me know and I'll send an invite.
Eldred's younger sister Sarah Jane (B1872) is my Great Grandmother. I have their parent's names and dates but, unfortunately, not much else. Hope this gives you a jump start.

There was some duplication. Frances(not Francis)is correct as far as I know. I've also removed Edwin (b1858), William (b1859), Eldrul (is actually Eldred) and Arthur (b1868). This should now line up with the census records. I still need to confirm birth and death dates. Hope this helps.

Hi Phil: I would like you to know that Alice Ann Jewell married Henry W. Singer in1926 and had a daughter named Sheila in 1930 born in Rossland bc. Christine. Also are you positive about Edwins parents being James &Sarah. Christine

Hi Phil: Ineed some help i found five death certificates for James Jewell. I need help figuring out the right one, here they are 1 Born 1796- died 9-1871,Born 1797- Died 12-1871, Born 1803- Died 12-1883, Born 1804- Died 09-1882, Born 1805- Died 09-1886. Please help. Christine
