Seeking further information on William & Cassana WARDELL family. William was born abt. 1797 in either Iowa or Kentucky and Cassana was born abt. 1816 in KY or IND. according to Bainbridge Township, Schuyler County, Illinois census information. Cassana's maiden name may have been WYSON.

Mary E. WARDELL born June 3, 1841 in Scott Co. IND. married George W. GREGORY in 1865 Schuyler Co. IL. Mary E. died Oct. 26, 1908 Schuyler Co IL. - children Liza J, Nellie E, Cassana, William F., Eliza Thomas, Altha M., Sarah Elizabeth, Lawrence E., Emma E. GREGORY.

Charlotte "Jane" WARDELL born abt. 1843 possibly in IND or IA., married a Moses LOWE or LEE on Oct. 30, 1859 in Schuyler County, Illinois. (I found 2 documents with different surname for Moses.)

Elias "Thomas" WARDELL born Jan. __ 1844 in IL.. died Jan 13, 1924 in Chester, Crawford County, Arkansas.
1st. married Peralee JENKINS in 1873 Schuyler Co IL. - child- Isaac b. abt. 1875 (Isaac lived with Grandfather JENKINS and may have married Edna L. COX in 1898 McDonough Co. IL. If so one child Margaret was born.) *** Peralee was a daughter to Isaac W. JENKINS born abt. 1835 KY. & his wife Elizabeth SHORT was born abt. 1836 KY. THey were married in 1856 in Mercer County, Kentucky. Siblings of Peralee were; Malinda F., Martha M., Dora, & Grant JENKINS.
2nd married Mrs. Mary J. MOONEY (maiden name may have been BEKLEY) in 1888 Chester, Crawford Co. ARK. - children- Libby G., Mary Francis, Kate E., Essie M., Edith, Margaret WARDELL, & step son James A. MOONEY.

1st. married Mary KNOUSE in 1874 Schuyler Co. IL. (unknown if children were born)
2nd married Judith A. INGLES in 1876 Schuyler Co IL.- children: Dora Evelyn, Fred Burton, Frank R., Augusta E., George Thomas, Charles Everett, Bertha E., Julia Etta, James Allen, Kathryn R. WARDELL. ** Judith was a daughter of Coleman INGLES born abt. 1823 KY. Coleman's father was Thomas INGLES born abt. 1789 PA
