Some of the info on Mary Jane Ware is as follows:
born: 1849
died: 1900
burried: Prospect Meth. Cemetery, Chamlbee, GA
father: George Ware
mother:Gina (?)

I to have heard the same story about the Indian blood in that branch of the family.
I probably have some more info on the Wares and will send when I locate.
