Bob Jefcoat, 76, of Windsor, Missouri, died Friday morning, January 28, 2011, at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Mo.

He was born February 25, 1934, in Roll, Oklahoma, the son of Robert Paul Jefcoat and Florence Eva (Hillman) Jefcoat. On April 14, 1961, in Pampa, Texas, he married Imogene (Cantrell) Jefcoat and she preceded him in death on September 29, 1983. On February 15, 1986, in Sedalia, Mo., he married Jo Ann (Garrett) Arnold and she survives of the home in Windsor.

Bob started laying brick at the age of 17 and later established Jefcoat Masonry, working in the masonry business for 41 years. He also was a cattleman, working his Dad’s Charlois cattle herd that Bob brought up from Sweetwater, Ok. Woodcarving, traveling, feeding and watching birds were things he enjoyed. He loved his animals, especially his dogs and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a member of the Holiday Rambler’s RV Club and the International Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman, Local 24.

In addition to his wife, Jo Ann, survivors include 3 sons, Winford Benton and Randy Benton, both of Winfield, Kansas; and Stephen Arnold, Scottsdale, Arizona; 4 daughters, Sandra Kay Williams, Amarillo, Texas; Cheryl L. Brown, Windsor, Mo.; Debra L. Cullinan, Raymore, Mo.; and Julie A. Buehler, Liberty, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a great-grandchild “on the way;” a brother, Melvin Jefcoat, Cheyenne, Ok.; 3 sisters, Athena; Billie Gene; and Donna. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Charlotte Kay Lunsford; a son, Robert Dean Jefcoat, and a sister, Pauline Eva Jefcoat.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011, at the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Windsor, with Reverend Myra Torrance officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
