Hi Helen I worked at Jeakins sawdust in the seventies for your dad and his two bros I don't know if you will remember me I was 18 when I started work there in down ham road I know your bros Geoff and Harry I know your mum had a stroke and I used to make up these fun tapes with bits of songs and one particular song at the time was the streak by ray Stevens when your dad heard it he took it home so your mum could hear it and he said it made her laugh as I used to do voiceovers in between songs and we would listen to them at tea breaks ,maybe your cousin tommy(Tom boy )will remember me ,if I remember right you were going out with dave the tottenham supporter.many thanks for any reply.ps I got on well with all your family and only left when my parents moved to Swindon .i was very sad to hear your dad ,Charlie and tommy had all passed away but I came to realise this would be the case after all these years.they were all good people, and it was an honour to have known them I,ll never forget my time working for them and with them .garry.

Hi
I'm Lucy my grandmother was Joan Rececca Jeakins. Her father was Joseph James Jeakins. My great aunt was Grace Jeakins & their brother Robert died in WWII only 29 :(
Joseph owned a sawdust business but I think he sold out to the brothers.
I hope this helps
