Henrietta V. Jazwinski, of Sharon Road, West Middlesex, Pa. died on Tuesday (12/7/2010) at 12:15 a.m. surrounded by her husband and three children. She was 89. Henrietta was born in Erie, Pa. on September 15, 1921 to Valentine and Josephine Grudzdlewska Koston. She attended grade school at St. Stanislaus Kostka Elementary School in Erie. She was a graduate of Farrell High School, class of 1940. She was married to Chester Jazwinski on September 1, 1941. He survives at home. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in West Middlesex, Pa. Henrietta and Chester were founding members of the parish where she was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society and head of the liturgy committee for many years. She also taught in the CCD program for over 30 years. She had worked for the former West Middlesex Dry Goods Company and with her husband owned and operated the Jazwinski Homemade Baked Goods Store in West Middlesex. Among her pastimes were baking, sewing and the crafting of Pisanki eggs at the Easter season. She was fond of the use of her desk top computer which she used to surf the net and correspond with her relatives and friends. Beside her husband, Henrietta is survived by her son, Dr. Richard Jazwinski, Queens, N.Y. and two daughters, JoAnn and her husband, Frank Zubek of Bedford, Ohio, and Dr. Mary Lou Jazwinski of Philadelphia. Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six sisters; Jean Chojnacki, Irene Kelly, Jane Wiercinski, Sally Schuster, Ida Petak and Harriett Wagner. Friends may call on Thursday (12/9/2010) at the A.E. Pustinger Funeral Home, Ltd., 1310 Idaho St., Farrell, Pa. from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (12/10/2010) at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3613 Sharon Road, West Middlesex, PA.
