Attached find an obit from a Peoria Illinois newspaper that states that this woman's son lived in Memphis. I found a Leo Janofsky who died January 24, 1966 in Davidson (not Shelby) county TN. I wrote the Tennessee Archives for an obit and they sent the following newspaper clipping copies with no indication of what newspaper they are from on what date. I am not sure this is the right individual or not. Our Charles is not from New York but instead Peoria and we have no brother Albert listed in the census records of 1900, 1910 or 1920 in Peoria. Also his father Charles in Peoria had a Catholic mass for his burial not a rabbi. There were whispers of a Jewish ancestor in the Lyle line and I thought it might be the Janovsky line but this is the first clue of it and it does not fit for the above listed reasons. More research is needed on this line but I am open for ideas on which way to turn. The two little death announcements do not even match in their family information listed.
