Andrew Jaworek, a Resident of Warren Over 55 Years Died Sunday Noon at his Home on Arlington Avenue

The funeral of Andrew Jaworek, who died following an illnes of the past 19 months, Sunday noon at his home 11 Arlington Ave., Warren, will be held Wednesday morning. The funeral cortege will leave his home at 8:30 and proceed to St. Casimir's Church, of which he has long been an active member, and here a requiem mass will be celebrated at 9 by the Rev. John T. Borek, the pastor. Burial will be in teh family lot in St. John's Cemetery.
Andrew Jaworek was born in Austria, Poland, the son of Thomas and Mary (Godek) Jaworek. He came to America about 60 years ago and went to Chicopee, where he married Miss Josephine Grzebien 56 years ago, and following their marriage in that city they came to Warren to make their home. He was engaged in teh former Parker Mills, now the Berkshire, as a spinner until he retired a few years ago. His wife died in 1943. Surviving him are two daughters, Miss Helen Jaworek of New Yrok and Mrs. Alfred Ulmschneider of Warren, and two sons, Walter of Kaiser, West Virginia and [note that the name of the second son was omitted from the article]also four grandchildren, Gibson Jaworek of Kaiser, W. VA, Alfred Jr. and Robert Ulmschneider of Warren and Martin Jaworek of Warren. Three brothers also survive, Thomas of Poland, Eugene of New Bedford, and Michael of Warren, and one sister, Mrs. Sophie Zarnowski of Poland. He was a member of St. Joseph's Society.
