Mr. William Edward Jauer

William E. (Will Ed) Jauer was born February 23, 1917 in Karnes City, Texas and passed Saturday, February 9, 2002. Will Ed was a graduate of Texas A&M University, Class of 1939 with a BS in Marketing and Finance. He was Past President of the San Antonio A&M Club and served on the Board of Directors of the A&M Former Students Association. He was a Certified Financial Planner since 1949. Will Ed was a Veteran of WWII. He retired as a Major after serving in the Army Air Corp. He was also Past District Treasurer of Rotary, a Paul Harris Fellow, and a long time member of the Alamo Heights Rotary Club, Past President of the Toastmasters, and a member of The Order of Daedalians. Will Ed served on the Vestry of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church for over 20 years. He was a member of the Men of St. Marks and the Sons of the Republic of Texas. Mr. Jauer was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeffrey E. Jauer, Jr. He is survived by: his wife of 59 years, Marion Bodkin Jauer; son, Jeffrey E. Jauer; daughter-in-law, Sylvia E. Jauer; son, David W. Jauer; daughter-in-law, Liz Jauer; granddaughters, Vanessa Jauer Arnold and Joyce E. Jauer; and 4 great grandchildren.
