Harold Jason is the son of Arthur Jason and Mae Perry Jason Goodwin.

I would ove to know more about his mom, Dr Mae Perry Jason and her second husband, Dr. James H Goodwin, both died in Los Angeles.

If you don't mind my asking, what else do you know about this Mary Jason. Did she marry a Manuel Enos? Did she come to the US? dob? dod? Any children? Perhaps our Mary Jasons are the same, perhaps not. The Mary Jason I seek died appx. 1897 in Portland, Maine.

Unknown regarding Pico.
Affirmative for Azores regarding Manuel.
I believe "Mrs. Mary Jason" not to be of Portuguese descent.

New information on Helen Graboski Jason

Helen is my great aunt on my grandmother's side. She is my grandmother's sister. I have a copy of her obit but it doesn't list much. I am listing the information from it and if anyone has extra information that could be helpful to me I would be happy to hear from you.

Dated: April 1980

Mrs. Helen Jason, Irving Avenue in Scranton, PA died in Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Edward Jason.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie(Josephine) Graboski, she was a member of the Sacred Hearts Church. The couple would of celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on October 14th, 1980.

Also, surviving are a son, Joseph, Moscow, PA, 4 grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral was held by the Nicholas Chomko Funeral Home 1132 Prospect Avenue with mass at Sacred Hearts Church and burial at the parish cemetary, Minooka.

My father's name was Joseph Jason, he was born in Penn. Do not know his grandparents name except that his fathers name was Frank Jason, and Frank Jason's mothers maiden name was Bacho. The Jason name was changed when they came over from Czech, Or Hungary. Would like to know the correct spelling before they changed it to Jason as I have run into dead ends everywhere I go. Jan

Hi,

I just started my husband's family tree. I have gotten back as far as his g g gfather, Charles Jason, who fought in the Civil War. Is anyone else working on this family tree? Charles married Julia Lareau sometime around 1855 and they had at least two children, Lucy & Alfred.

If anyone is working on this, please let me know.
