1700's makes a ton of sense...

I've traced records in Chihuahua the earliest; a 1706 christening...

I've traced my own Jaquez line back to the early 1800's, an 1846 baptism of Maria Del Refugio Jaquez Quesada in SAN FRANCISCO JAVIER,SATEVO PUEBLO,CHIHUAHUA,MEXICO, Her parents were my 4x great grandfather Agapito Jaquez and Quiteria Quesada. They were both my great great great grandfathers', Lucas Jaquez, parents. Lucas was older than Maria.

Lucas Jaquez and Nicanora Chavez (b. 1831) baptized their son on 1856, Jose Benito Encarnacion Jaquez in La Sagrada Familia, Carichic, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was the brother of my great great grandfather Jesus Jaquez.

Jesus Jaquez married Nicolasa Villalobos who had Josefa Jaquez and she married Jesus Quezada, both parents of my grandmother who was born in San Bartolo, San Francisco de Borja, Chihuahua. The "town" no longer exists (it was a ranch) but they moved to S. Francisco de Borja by 1930.

Not sure if this will match up with anyone else's timelines; I couldn't keep track of all the names on this forum.

Reply back if you want me to look up family; I have access to records that date back to 1700 in Chihuahua (births, baptisms, marriages).
