I have been researching the deed to our house and found that it had been in the Jaquette family for over 110 years before being sold (1988) to a person who renovated/restored it before selling it to us. This house was built by Isaac, though his nephew Nathaniel (Foundry owner Thomas's son) ended up in the house sometime after his death. Nathaniel's daughter Elsie lived in the house from her birth until her death-- she also bore and raised her family here. The house built by Thomas still stands across the street, as do the houses in which his son Andrew (who took over the foundry) lived. If I can be of help to anyone looking for local information, please feel free to e-mail me and I'll see if I can help you out. I am also interested in hearing from anyone who may have memories of the house or of the local family.

Thanks much! ~Stacey
