Seeking information on ROSINA J. JAMES (don't know her
birth name). She was born in England abt 1846 and came to
North America in 1865.

She had a son, CHARLES THOMAS JAMES, born in March of 1875.
Not sure if it was in England or Smiths Falls, Ontario,
Canada -- census records have conflicting data. He reported
to the US Census in 1900 that he came to the State in 1879.
Charles enlisted in the 8th Massachusetts Regiment during
the Spanish American War. He was transferred to Company M,
the Army Band. Charles is lost after 1910.

She also had a daughter LILLIE C. JAMES born abt 1867. The
1880 US Census says she was born in England.

In 1880 she worked as a housekeeper for the Mc Carthys on
19 Kirkland Street Boston, MA. Her children lived at the
residence in which she worked.

In the 1900 Census she is listed as a dressmaker living as
a boarder in the Schofield home at 22 Windsor Rd in Somerville, MA.

In the 1910 Census she is listed as living with her son
and his wife LOTTA LYDIA RIGG JAMES and their children
ALICE MABEL, ROBERT EDWIN, and ARTHUR THOMAS at their home
on Webster Place in Boston, MA. LOTTA LYDIA RIGG was born
in MA in July of 1875. The last she is seen in the US
Census is the 1920 and her husband is not listed at the
residence. Her daughter, ALICE, was married in 1918 or 1919
and was living elsewhere. (She was my grandmother.) I have
information about ARTHUR, but I am not sure about ROBERT.
He may have married in the late 1920s and was then divorced
and married for a second time a woman named HAZEL V (birth
name unknown). I know her birth and death dates. She had
two daughters born in the 1940s KATHY/CATHY and DEBBIE.
They lived in Framingham, MA.

Does anyone have any information about any of these folks,
especially ROSINA and her children and ROBERT'S families?
