Gaylord Jadin, 73, Casco, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2007.


He was born May 15, 1934, in the town of Brussels, to Louis and Gladys (VanDrisse) Jadin.


He married Shirley Jacobs on Oct. 8, 1953, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco. Gaylord was employed at Schrieber's Foods for 43 years and also farmed in the town of Luxemburg.


He is survived by his wife, Shirley; his children, Rick (Kathy) Jadin, Green Bay; Terri (Ken) Thiry, De Pere; Joe (Mary) Jadin, Champion; Kevin (Lisa) Jadin, Charlton, Mass.; Rob (Deanne) Jadin, Luxemburg; 11 grandchildren, Nicole, Stacy and Stephanie Thiry, Heather (Jeff) Paulis, Amanda and Matt Jadin, Kayla and Peyton Jadin, Jessica, Kelsey and Tyler Jadin; mother, Gladys Jadin; brother, Mark Jadin; mother-in-law, Bernice Jacobs; brother-in-law, Dick (Vida) Jacobs; two nieces.


He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Jadin; brother, Larry Jadin; father-in-law, Marvin Jacobs.


Friends may call at Wiesner-Massart Funeral Home (Casco) on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco. Wake service 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Holy Trinity Church with Fr. Milton Suess officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery.


Gaylord's family wishes to thank the staff at Bornemann Nursing Home for their exceptional care and compassion. A heartfelt thank you to neighbors and friends for their kindness.
