I've seen the name but so far I haven't found any relation. I do believe (in theory only) that a groupd of Jacots came over from Switzerland at the same time, but ended up settling in different places. There is a Cesar Jacot in St. Joseph, Michigan that was born in Swt. He was a jeweller. I don't know of any connection there either. Good luck.
