Seeking information on the father and mother of one John JACOB. Concerning John: b.1835 Southampton area, emigrated to Australia circa 1853, m. 1859 to Elizabeth WEAVER in Maitland, NSW. Moved to Kootingal/Moonbi area near Tamworth, NSW. d. 22 Sep 1904 there. Elizabeth d. 1 Jul 1913. Numerous children, including: Matilda (b.c. 1860, m. 1880 to John BALLANTINE, d. 27 Sep 1913), George (b. 1866, m. 1892 Mary Jane MAGILL, d. 4 Sep 1947) and at least seven other children.

I believe (from NSW BDM records) that John JACOB's father was one George JACOB and mother Mary Ann (maiden name unknown).

Seeking more information on George and Mary Ann JACOB who presumably resided in Southampton area at the time of John's birth circa 1835.

Any advice welcome.
