My mane is Patrice Shelton Lassiter. I am the great great great great granddaughter of Eastern Jim, a Full blooded Cherokee /(Inglish name: James Morgan) Tribal name Wowack or Wowmock/under the Cherokee Tribe. This was one of the clans that was pretty much wipped out. He was born in the late 1700's and is the father of my great-great-great grandmother, Sandall Jackson. Sandall Jackson had the following siblings: Mary Jackson dieded in Upson County, Ga (1905); Lucinda Threatt, died in lookout Mt, Tenn (1903);Liza Crafter, died in Monroe County, Ga (1896); Emily died in Alabama(1889); Hampton Wowmock died during Civil war; John Wowmock died before Civil War.
Sandall married Alexander Wowmock (Inglish name: Jackson) They had 10 children: Nathan jackson B-1841/ died 1894; Samuel E. Jackson B-1843; Martha Jackson Smith B-1844; Patsy Jackson Andrews Bates B-1845; Mike Jackson B-1846; Andrew Jackson B-1849; Alex Jackson B-1852; Rhoda Jackson Braxton B-1854; Lucinda Jackson B-1856/Died 1895; and my great great grandfather Hampton (Hamp)Jackson B-1850/ Died in 1932. He married Louisa (LuLa) Johnson-Jackson.
