I am looking for the descendants of my Great-grandfather Ananias Jackson. He was born a slave to James Clements, founder of Madison, Alabama. He was a United States Colored Troop from 1863 to 1866. He married Laura Bradford in 1865 they had several children, three sons whose names were Ananias Jr.,William and Wilson. There were other children, my grandmothers name was Mary Jackson Hughes. She was a small child when her mother past in 1896. There was another daughter whose name was Marie. She married Edward Hughes, the son of John W. Hughes of Madison, Alabama. Ananias later married Eliza Renshaw of Bridgeport, Alabama. They had one son,Peter and a daughter,Rebecca. Ananias died in July of 1910. I am trying to find his burial place. I will appreciate any help given.
