Thank you for your interest in the Civil War and the contribution of my Great-Grandfather Ananias Jackson. I have tried unsuccessful in recent years to find his grave sight, so the Sons and Daughters of The First Tennessee Chapter of the United States Colored Troops can place a headstone on his grave. Last week I was in touch with the Royal Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama, but their records only go back as far as 1945. If you could help find his grave it will be another step in history and of course a great appreciation for our family.
