Wilton, died on Friday, March 16, 2007, at Manor-Care Health Services, Davenport.
Inurnment at the National Cemetery, Rock Island. Pastor Diane Anderson will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Deb Mohr and vocalist Henry Bentley.

Mrs. Frances
DeVore Jackson was born Feb. 27, 1923, to Dewey and Beryl (Arnold)
DeVore in Atalissa. She married William Fick. He preceded her in death. She then married Virgil F. Jackson on March 22, 1953, in
Wilton. He preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1996.
She worked at Durant Foundry and was a farm wife and milked cows for many years.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in
Wilton, Royal Neighbors of America,
Wilton Camp,
Wilton Senior Citizens, the Over 50 Club and the Womens Fellowship at Grace United Church of Christ.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter Mary
Jackson of Colona, Ill.; sons Michael and his wife Barbara
Jackson of Haymarket, Va., and Mark and his wife Peggy
Jackson of Lees Summit, Mo.; two grandchildren; and her brothers Carroll and his wife Maxine

Iowa - Lois L. Jackson, 78, of Muscatine, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at Unity Hospital, Muscatine.
Private family services will be held and internment will take place at a later date at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born August 10, 1928, the daughter of James and Thyra (Ingelman) Quinn in Kansas City, Mo. She married Donald R. Jackson Dec. 27, 1949, in Hasting, Neb. Prior to the birth of her children, she taught in a country school in Lexington, Neb.
She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Nebraska.
Her family was the main focus of her life and she was always involved in their activities. She loved animals, enjoyed cross stitch, crossword puzzles, quilting, knitting and crafts.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband; her daughters, Debbie Heidenheim and her husband,
Taylor, of Tucson, Ariz. and Kerri Swiniuch and her husband, Jim, of Tucson, Ariz.; a son, David
Jackson and his wife, Diane, of Rio Rancho, N.M.; and four grandchildren, Christian Swiniuch, Rusty Brown, Jennifer Laren and Stacie Boggs.
She was preceded in death by her birth father, James Quinn; and her parents, Russell and Thyra Clark.

Iowa.

Lisa was born July 16, 1962, the daughter of Loren Kay and Valeen Schaper
Jackson, in
Burlington,
Iowa.
She was a life resident of Wapello and had graduated from Wapello High School in 1980. She graduated from Kirkwood Community
College in Cedar Rapids as a dental assistant.
She worked for Dr. Diana Dykes for 25 years and the past three years at the University of
Iowa College of Dentistry in Pediatrics with children of special needs.
She was an avid Cubs and NASCAR fan.
Survivors include her daughter, Lauren Kay Williams at home; her mother and stepfather, Valeen and Keith Zeigenhorn of Wapello; her sister, Teresa
Jackson of Olds; an aunt and uncle, Leota and Dwight Schaper of
Columbus Junction; and two stepsisters, Glenda Wheeler and Jill
Schnell, both of Muscatine. She also leaves an abundance of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Kay

He graduated from high school in Vernon, Ala., and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the International Operating Engineers Local 234 out of Des Moines for 50 years as a heavy equipment operator.
He enjoyed fishing, antique cars, gardening and lawn mowing. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife; a son, Ronald
Jackson and wife, Pam, of Wapello; two daughters, Sandy Phillips and husband, Ron, of Wapello and Regina Barta and husband, Scott, of Derby, Kan.; a son-in-law, Rich

Mr. Jackson was born August 3, 1923, in
Washington,
Iowa, a son of Clarence E. Jackson and Helen L. Porter
Jackson. He married the former Darlene Blenn in 1947. He later married the former Dorothy Z. Sowash on May 24, 1958, in Ottawa,
Illinois. She preceded him in death in 1996.
He graduated from West Chester High School in
Iowa.
Following high school he honorably served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
David was employed with Case I.H. for more than 30 years.
He was a member of the United Auto Workers, V.F.W. Post No. 1303, Rock Island, and the American Legion Post No. 569/200, Milan. His favorite times were socializing with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. He especially loved and enjoyed caring for his dogs, Scarfy, Chandler, and Max, fishing and Nascar.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Drayfahl of Muscatine; a son, Michael
Jackson and wife, Brenda, of Nichols, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three stepchildren, and a sister, AnnaBell.

Mrs. Jackson was born Nov. 18, 1919, in Morrison,
Illinois, the daughter of Paul E. and Mary E. Carroll Richmond. She married Joseph
Jackson on October 5, 1940, in Clinton.
She graduated from Morrison High School in 1937.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was very active in various committees. She especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren.
She retired from Promotional Fulfillment Corp., Camanche, in 1983.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, four brothers and one granddaughter.

He loved to trap shoot, was a member of the NRA and enjoyed traveling and fishing in Minnesota.

He lived in Winterset from 1982-86, Des Moines from 1986-87 and moved to

He worked at Trilite Windows for several years and most recently was employed in the parts department of Jordan Motors, Johnston.
He enjoyed fishing and bowling and was a member of the Adam & Eve Bowling League, Madrid.

Fran was born on September 19, 1941, in Rock Island,
Illinois, the daughter of Jack and Sylvia (Kofsky)
Miller. She married Gary R. Jackson on November 27, 1971, in Oquawka,
Illinois and they lived in Muscatine for the last 37 years.
Fran gradated from Rock Island High School in 1959. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, life time member of Unity Hospital Auxiliary.
She worked at the Rock Island Argus, Quad City Times, Rock Island Arsenal, Von Maur and currently at Elder Beerman.
Fran was a devoted wife, mother, baba, aunt, daughter, sister, friend and co-worker. She enjoyed playing scrabble, canasta, games of chance and traveling with her husband, children and sisters.

Iowa.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Church in
Columbus Junction, and also the National Association of Postmasters.
She loved her grandsons, enjoyed family history and corresponding with family and friends.

Mr. Jackson was born on April 14, 1930, the son of Chester H. and Della Longley
Jackson. He married Nancy E. Crawford on Sept. 2, 1951. She preceded him in death in 1993. He later married Veronica Vroman Beaird on May 6, 2000.
He graduated from Joy High School in 1948 and attended Blackburn
College and
Iowa State University.
He was an U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.
He was a second generation farmer in rural Joy. He took enjoyed raising purebred Simmental Cattle, and in the past five years he reached his goal of becoming a certified organic farmer.
He was a member of Joy United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow and mature into young adults.
Survivors include his wife, Veronica; two daughters, Diane Louck and her husband, Don, of Weslaco, Texaco, and Deb Bonick and her husband, Doug, of Joy; four grandchildren, Darin and Ray Louck, both of Texas, Angela Davis of New

She was a retired Interior Designer and a former teacher of science and English.
