YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Private funeral services were held Saturday, March 22, 2014, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church for Chester Jablonski, 83, who departed this life on March 15, 2014.
He was born Feb. 1, 1931, a son of the late Frank and Veronica Jablonski.
Chester was a 1950 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School.
He served with the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed by Republic Steel, LTV Steel as a slager, where he retired.
He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and also a member of the Polish National Society.
Chester leaves to cherish his memories, a brother, Jerome (Florence) Jablonski of New Middletown, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Julius, Walter and William Sovak; a brother, Henry Jablonski; and a sister, Helen Melesky.
The Jablonski family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home.
