I have some information on the Izdebski side of my family, but would love more. My grandfather was Stanley Izdepski (misspelled with a 'p' instead of 'b' on the birth certificate, and that's what he went by, b. 7/29/1912, d. 9/27/1994, lived in New Bedford, MA his whole life) who married Francis Smola (b. 10/4/1912, d. 11/1986). He had two sisters: Mary Izdebski (b. 6/29/1914, d. 7/15/1997, lived in New Bedford and on Cape Cod), who married Walter Wesoly, and Jean Izdebski (b. 9/23/1919, d. 7/1986, lived in New Bedford and Marion, MA), who married George Olifierko. Their parents were Michel Izdebski (b. 2/4/1890 in Poland, d. 5/1967, came to US around turn of century and spent most of that time in New Bedford, may have went to PA to work in coal mines first) and Agnes Izdebski (Gacek) (b. 10/2/1891 in Poland, d. 4/1985, came to US around turn of century, spent most or all of time in US in New Bedford). Michel Izdebski had a cousin, Andrew Izdebski (b. 7/15/1896, d. 5/1980, spent most of his life in New Bedford). Andrew was married to Celia M. Izdebski (d. 10/19/1967). Their daughter, Natalie, had several children. Michel Izdebski had a cousin who had three sons, Joseph, Stanley (of Rhode Island?), and John (of New Bedford, b. 12/8/1908, d. 9/1980, married Irene who now lives in CT). That is just about everything I have on that side of my family. Can anybody add anything to that? I'd greatly appreciate it. My email is
bulb00@yahoo.com (those are zeros after bulb, not the letter O). Thanks.
