Hello Martin!

I think I may have something on your family.

I have Stefan Iwanicki b. 1863 married Julia, residing in Graffton, WV in 1910. Their son Andrzej b. 1893 immigrated in 1910 on the ship Vaderland.
Stefan may have had a brother Iwan Iwanicki b. 1862 who immigrated to Graffton on the Blucher in 1910. He was married to Anya Finkowiat and had children Michael (b. 1890) and Maria (b. 1892) baptized in Stefkowa.
Olszanica, of course, is close to Stefkowa.
Have you seen my Stefkowa website:

I would appreciate any data you can share on your family as I continue researching; a copy of that marriage record and any other papers would be absolutely wonderful.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Justin (or Marella i'm not sure who this is)

I'm glad you found information, but I do not think we are talking about the same Stefan Iwanicki. Maybe we are, but Stefan had a son named Jozef, and I am not sure about his son named Andrzej. I do know that Stefan married a Julia, but I am pretty sure that she was from Poland, since the first person to go to the US was my great grandfather Jozef, son of Stefan, Iwanicki. Thank you for this information, and maybe there are some relations, especially the brother Iwan and his child Michael. I would love hearing any more information, since this is all I have.
