Married 2nd – James Russell Hines, April 21, 1836, Macon Co., AL. Moved to Texas – 1837 – verified by voter registration card signed by son Amos in 1867.
Four Hines children – Laura Jan b 1837 AL; Alfred b 1839, Marion Hewitt b 1841 Washington Co. TX; Robert b 1846 Washington Co., TX
In 1850 census James Russell Hines was married to 2nd wife Catherine L. and two sons T.N. and Amos were living in Milam Co., TX with the Neville Gee family.
Jane Ivins Persons Hines is probably buried Mt Zion Cemetery, Burton, Washington Co, TX – acreage gifted by James Russell Hines to Baptist Church when he sold his farm and moved with 2nd wife to Goldthwaite, TX
Have no clue as to date or place of birth or family of Jane Ivins.
The only other Ivins, Ivans or Ivines names I've found in AL or GA during the 1824-1840 time period are William Ivins b NJ abt 1810 per 1850 Marengo Co. AL census and a Samuel Ivins.
Both William and Samuel acquired land from the BLM General Land Office circa 1837-1840 in Marengo and Tuscaloosa Counties. Wm O Ivins married Francis Ann Johnson Marengo Co, AL on Apr 9, 1835.
