I'm looking for information on my great grandfather and great grandmother - Joe Ivancic and Gertrude Rozanc Ivancic.

Joe was born in Yugoslavia Mar 21, 1891 and died Mar 14, 1965 and resided in Madison, OH.

Gertrude was born in 1893 and died Jan 1, 1959 in Summit County, OH. She was under psychological treatment and we have no information on her or her parents.

Please respond. Thanks!!

No, I don't know exactly where they are from. I haven't gotten far enough to even know that. Thanks for your help.

Hi!
My family and I immigrated to U.S. from former Yugoslavia about 6 years ago. My father mentioned to me that he had some family living somewhere in OH. He doesn't know much about them. I am not sure if it was his grandfather's or father's stepbrother who immigrated to U.S. I hope to find out more information.
Thanks!

How is your great-grandmother related to the Rozancs in Pennsylvania? There are quite a few of us here.

Unfortunately, I do not know anything about where my Great Grandfather came from in Yugoslavia. Do you have any specific information that you could share with me regarding names and dates?

Hi!
My grandfather cousin's name (I think he was my grandfather uncle's son), who lived somewhere in Ohio, was Stipan Ivancic. He was from Bosnia and Herzegovina, actually the place he was from was closer to the border with Croatia. I think that he was married to a lady from Croatia who also had lived here. I don't know much about them. I don't know hom many children they had or their names. I was hoping to find that out. My father's family doesn't have any information about him or his family. They only know that he had visited his hometown back in 1940s or 50s.
Thank you

Classification: Query
My name is Annaleta (Rozanc--Changed to Rozantz) Cunningham. My family is in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Until now, I always thought we were the only Rozantz family, but now I find the the original spelling of Rozanc. You say that there are many in Pennsylvania---Where? My Grandfather's name was John and he married Mary Dimitz in 1906. My Grandfather came from Breza as far as I know. Ring any bells? I also have heard of Rozanc families that are Italian. Slovenia is roughly the size of New Jersey and borders Italy. Have you been to Slovenia. I really want to make the trip, but I want to find some relatives before going. Write with whatever youhave--Thanks!
