Joseph Italiano, 77, of Jeannette,
passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012,
at his residence.
He was born June 14, 1934,
in Dragoni, Italy, a son of the late Stefano and Teresa Mone Italiano. Prior to his retirement, Joe was employed by the Menasha Corp. in Yukon. After retirement, Joe worked for Bove Engineering as a building and grounds keeper. He was a member of the Ascension Church of Jeannette and was a veteran of the Italian Army. In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by a brother, Dominic Italiano. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Concettina "Connie" Pasquariello Italiano; two daughters, Teresa Illinicki and husband, Paul, of McKees Rocks, and Anna Maria Gsell and husband, Curt, of Greensburg; a son, Steve Italiano and wife, Barbara, of Greensburg; three grandchildren, Adelle Lotinsky, of Moon, Alec and Nina Italiano, both of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday in the Ascension Church with Father John M. Foriska as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice, 3520 Route 130, Irwin, PA 15642; or the Ascension Church Memorial Fund, 615 Division St., Jeannette PA, 15644.
