Can anyone that knows Italian first names help me translate the following names to American names, they are both males.
Arminia
Emilio
Also is anyone familiar with the surname Prontremoti, is it Italian or French?
Thanks
Lynn

Not all Italian first names have English equivalents. My grandfather's name is a case in point, Telemaco. The Emilio may have been shortened to Emil or changed to the French version, Emile.
