Here's a puzzle tree for everyone. My family history includes a convolution of marriages, divorces, deaths and remarriages. (I even have ONE situation where my father's cousin married my mother's SISTER making him my uncle cousin...or is that cousin uncle???) I'm not quite sure which side is worse, my mother's or my father's!
Sticking with mom's side, my Grandfather is John Albert Isler. I am the only person who knows where he is buried at in the Greendale Cemetary near my Grandfather Perkins' Mennonite Church. (Even the BURIALS are convoluted!)
Here is what I know:
John Albert Isler was born 2/6/1913 and died 2/1/72. He was married to Sarah Ellen (Whyel) Isler (b. 9/6/1915) on 2/27/32.
He was raised by his mother, Nellie (Franks) [Isler] Ardabelle and his step-father, Absalon Ardabelle. His genetic father is listed as Albert Isler. (There may be a Rose Walton Isler in here somewhere, but my mother and grandmother were a little fuzzy...could be a first wife to Albert, a sister or even Albert's mother.)
I do not know if there was a divorce between Albert Isler and Nellie Isler or if Albert died. (Part of what I am attempting to trace.)

My grandfather Isler was the "Black Sheep" of the family. To quote my mother, "he was a jailbird." (Bing polite, I guess.) He also had an afair while still married to my grandmother. To my knowledge, the divorce from my grandmother, Sarah Ellen (Whyle) Isler was never finalized. I remember grandpap's funeral quite well, but that is another story...
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated! I will supply any information I have...
Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any assistance!
