Floyd C. Isgrigg of Sullivan, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 25, 2004 at the age of 92 years.
Mr. Isgrigg was born June 4, 1911 at Bonne Terre, Missouri to Fred and Martha (Webb) Isgrigg. He had lived the majority of his life in the Sullivan and Bourbon area for over 60 years. On February 24, 1932 he was married to Martha Mercer at Cadet, Missouri and to this marriage five children were born of which an infant daughter preceded him in death. Mr. Isgrigg was employed as a carpenter in heavy construction and retired in 1971. He was a member of True Vine Baptist Church of Sullivan.
He is survived by three sons, Clifford Isgrigg of Bourbon, Edward Isgrigg of Sullivan and John Isgrigg of Belle, Missouri, one daughter, Anna Bell Halmick of Springfield, Missouri, two brothers, Homer and Gene Isgrigg both of Bonne Terre, Missouri, two sisters, Norma Clark of St. Charles, Missouri and Becky Smith of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, Mr. Isgrigg was preceded in death by his wife Martha on October 24, 1971, an infant daughter, Neva June Isgrigg, four brothers, Jess, Ed, Jim, and Chester Isgrigg and by four sisters, Lola Kerlagon, Irene Venable, Florence Pulliam and Hazel Isgrigg.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2004 from the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor Lindell Vawter officiating. Interment was in Scott Cemetery, Anthonies Mill, Missouri. Visitation for Mr. Floyd Isgrigg was held from 4:30 until 9 p.m. Tuesday evening from the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
