Isenbaugh, Andrew L., Pvt Co C; mustered Sep 24, 1862; discharged Jun 22, 1865, by general order; born @1840/41; died May 12, 1894; a shoemaker from Baltimore, Maryland; 6' 0", dark hair, gray eyes; stripped "naket" for a physical examination at enlistment; captured at the battle of Carter's Woods; sick in hospital from October 19, 1864, from a strained back suffered at the battle of Cedar Creek falling over a dead tree; married Elizabeth E. ?; children: Kate (married a Shafer) and Andrew; Elizabeth in 1866 died in the York almshouse; remarried widow Mary A. Jamison, nee ?, October 4, 1868; they separated but never divorced; in 1893, lived in the National Soldiers' Home in Elizabeth City, Virginia, where he died
