I am not sure I have the name spelled correctly. I would like to learn some details on this Great Grand Uncle of mine. He was born 29 Jan 1855 in Skir parish, jnkpings ln, Sweden (it appears to me this name has some letters missing). His father (Isak Nilsson), came to the USA (Nebraska) several years before his wife (Lena Stina Johnsdotter) and son, Frank Otto (Americanized his last name to Nelson). Lena and Frank became so destitute in Sweden during this wait that they were placed on a "Poor Farm" before Isak was able to send for them. Johan had joined his older sister Anna C. Isaksdotter in Stockholm, Sweden and came to the USA later. We have clues that Johann may have been in the Chicago area because he ended up joining a Swedish colony at Silver Hill, Alabama that developed around 1900. I think he had two children, Minnie (I have her married to Fred J. Church) and Albert W. Isaacson (I have him married to Susie Bankester). I don't have his wife's name. Any clues would be appreciated in finding his descendants.
