Richard Isaak was my great uncle. He did a genealogy study of the family in 1959. We're from the line of August Jr. who is August's son. check out this web site as well.

Hi,
Thanks for responding with your information. I've read quite a bit about the Germans from Russia and have a lot of the family genealogy. In May my sister and I were able to attend a small Isaak gathering in Minnesota. Fred, your cousin?, and I had been in contact and he considered meeting my sister and I in South Dakota where we were visiting relatives. But we ended up meeting together in Minnesota with some other Isaak cousins. It was great. I've really enjoyed getting to know some of my cousins (both distant and close) due to my interest in the family history.

I am a descendant of William, the youngest of August and Christina's children. William and his brother August were fairly close and August used to come and visit William and his folks quite a bit while August and Christina were still alive.
My father is Paul Isaak, son of William and Maria. Dad is 84.
I enjoy corresponding if you're into writing. Thanks again for the info.

Dear Sir,
You have a Justina Fischer listed as married to an Isaak. Is that any relation to Andreas Fischer born in 1835 and married Elizabetha Abel. They came from Bessarabia. I can't seem to find any brothers and sisters and I know their were some. Thankyou for your time.

Do you have the correct spelling of Louisa Mueller, I have seen about 4 different spellings. Maybe you have paper work with her name printed out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My GG was Karoline Isaak Brosst shortened and changed to Caroline Isaac Ross when they landed at Ellis Island.
This on my part is a surmising with no back up. But some well thought out theory.

The web link does not work. It has been upgraded several times since 2005. The best link to reach the ISAAK FAMILY TREE IS: stamplink.com/genealogy/isaak/

Hopefully this will help someone in the future that searches the surname ISAAK.

This link takes you to Justina married page to Christian Isaak. Hopefully this helps.

Thank you. The August Isaak query was posted years ago and I should probably remove it, but every once in a while someone contacts me, so I haven't.

Thank you. The second generation Christian Isaak (son of Johann Michael) in my information says he died August 31, 1831 in Kulm Bessarabia. No birth date. He is a different Christian than the one listed as second generation in the website you mentioned. All very confusing but interesting.

How do you mean he is different? From what I see on the site and you mention above. They seem to be the same person. Or do you have siblings that are differen?
