John C. BRADEN (born 1858 TN ) and Sabra ISAACS were married in Pulaski County, Kentucky 30 June 1892. I found them in the 1910 Pulaski Co., Ky census with six children including son David C. Braden 26 yrs old, born KY. Could this David be a son of John from a previous marriage? It appears he was born abt 1884 which is about 7-8 yrs before John & Sabra's marriage. Kentucky marriage records index 1851-1900 also showed a marriage on 27 Dec 1881 in Pulaski County for John C. Braden and Martha Ann CAMPBELL. Is it possible Martha Ann is David's mother? Further evidence found in the 1880 Census for neighboring Rockcastle County, KY shows household of James D.(David) CAMPBELL with daughter Martha A. CAMPBELL age 18 yrs born in TN and John BRADEN nephew 22 yrs old born in TN. I believe this John BRADEN in the son of Cornelius J. and Nancy (SMITH) BRADEN. For what it's worth Campbells and Bradens came to Kentucky from Campbell County, Tennessee. Anyone with further information about these families please reply. Thanks.
