Is this Esther daughter of Isaac Isaacs of Jamaica?

Hi Richard Sorry I have not yet got back to you about my Isaacs mob. Esther's father was Samuel but there the string ends for me. I have been trying to establish whether they have a caribbean connection. Haven't found one yet but have memories of stories about such a connection. Will keep looking and this time try to keep you up to date.
Sunny day in sydney today, pity about going to work!! Cheers

Don't know if there is any connecrion but I had a grandfather named Sydney Baber Isaacs who lived in St Vincent for a while, married a Louise Layne of St. Vincent and eventually moved first to Tobago and then to Trinidad where he died in 1968. If there is a connection I would like to know more as we are having a difficult time tracing his family. Cheers Carol

My great-great-great-grandfather was Abraham Isaacs and he had a son Morris Isaacs and two daughters Rebecca and Rosetta. Unfortunately, Morris passed away so long ago that no one in my family remembers anyone from this branch of the family. If this looks like a match, I would be grateful if you would contact me.
Thank you.

He was Born 1856 and left England in 1874 on the vessel 'City of Benares' arrived in Sydney and then he disappears from view. He is quite closely connected and if any of this info ties up with anything related to your family please get in touch . More info to share thanks Claire
