Hi, Cathy. Yes and no. I ordered all the documents on George Loudermilk from the National Archives (on DVD) and most of those related to Charity's application for veterans benefits after his death. There is a lot of conflicting information there that I haven't sorted through carefully yet but no obvious helps. I have a 20 month old so my genealogy research has been mostly put on hold the past 2 years. However, if you're willing to do some digging there might be something there or in the NC State Archives. I haven't checked there yet, but it was the next thing on my list to try. I hope that helps.
