i´m looking for an Ircsik family that emigrated from Hungary( bakonybél) in the begining of 1900 to Usa.
I think that they have changed their name, but i´m not sure.
If there is someone that can help it would be very great.

Hi, my mother is Ircsik Cecilia (1943-), her sister (my aunt) Ircsik Erzsébet (1935-) lives in Denmark. Her brother Ircsik József (my uncle) (1932-1986) is a well-known artist, his father (1907?-1964) Ircsik József is also artist. As I know more of my relatives were emigrated from Hungary ~100 years ago (from Veszprém and the surrounding villages just like Bakonybél). I remember one of them Adele form Betlehem (USA).

hello! Thank you for answering my letter.
I am very glad to here from somebody that perhaps can help me. we know that a sister to my grandfather married an Ircsik Julius in bakonybél around 1900(ore earlier). My grandfather´s sisters girl name was Bertalan, and my dad know that he got a present from them 1935~1940 when he lived in Budapest. Last year my father and I visited Bakonybél and my father has an cousin that told us , that my dad´s grandfather´s sister married an Ircsik. We also visited the village cemetry and we found alot of Ircsik there.
Where in Usa is betlehem, is it around Ohio? my father remembers that the present he got where from cleveland.
We hope that this information will help you, and perhaps you can give us more information too.
Once again thank you for answering, and we hope to hear from you soon.
best regards from sandra Vincent bertalan.

Hi there. I live in the UK. My father is Ircsik Ferenc (1938 -) and he has a sister Ircsik Piroska (1935? -) who still lives in Hungary. I belive my grandfather, Ircsik Laszlo, was from Budapest originally. I think my dad grew up in the Valpalota/Vesprem area of Hungary (where some of his family still live). I know very little about this side of my family but I do know that there is a famous artist somewhere along the line.
If anyone has any further information please contact me. Thanks.
