Samuel Ippolito Obit- Died 11-13-1974
Samuel Ippolito, 83, died Wednesday evening following a short illness.
Born in Valledolmo, Sicily, Mr. Ippolito resided in Dunkirk, NY for 58 years, making his home at 418 Mullet St. He formerly resided in Itally.
Mr. Ippolito was a retired employee of the Dunkirk Street Department. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Church and the parish's Holy Name Society.
Surving are his wife Minnie Cerrie Ippolito; two daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Annette) Leon, Mrs. Anthony (Clara) Taddio, both of Dunkirk, and Mrs Anthony (Nancy) Vavo of Forestville; 26 grandchildren; four great granchildren and several neices and nephews.
Mr Ippolito was preceased by son, Anthony J. Ippolito and one brother, Louis Polito and two sisters.
Louis Polito Obit -Died Dec 14, 1957
Louis Polito, 529 Columbus Street, Dunkirk, NY, died Saturday afternoon in Brooks hospital following a lengthy illness.
Seventy-five years old, he was a native of Valledomo, Italy and had resided in Dunkirk for the past 55 years. A member of the Holy Trinity church and the Columbus Club, Mr. Polito was employed at the Allegheny Ludlum steel plant.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Angeline Polito; a son, Anthony Joseph Polito of Dunkirk; a daughter, Mrs Samuel Chirico of Dunkirk; a brother Sam Polito of Dunkirk and five grandchildren.
