Ruby, Rubie, Ruba Iott

Looking for anything on Ruby or Rubie, or Ruba Iott, born in Mich around 1879-80. Found a Rubie in Saginaw Mich directories early 1900s, working as a domestic and in a hotel. She is the birth mother of my paternal grandmother (whose adoption papers say grandmother was born in Standish, and her mother was listed as Ruby Iott.) So many Iotts in Mich, I am hoping someone has knowledge of Ruby...

Delilah Owings is listed as mother in law of Leon Iott on the 1920 Howell county Missouri census.

SILVERDALE, Wash. — Georgiana (Guerzon) Iott of Silverdale, Wash., died Dec. 18, 2007.
She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Feb. 23, 1931, to Eusebio Almazan and Urbana Guerzon, and married to Michael Iott, Aug. 15, 1964. She was one of Earth’s little angels and will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael; sons, Reginald (Joyce) Ortiz of Bonney Lake, Wash., Michael Iott of Silverdale, Wash., and Mitchell Iott of Bremerton, Wash.; daughters, Michelle (Ron) Moss of Bremerton, Wash., and Melissa (Brett) Jones of Seabeck, Wash.; her mother-in-law, Una Iott of Adrian, Mich.; brother, Jerry (Urcencia) Guerzon of Pleasanton, Calif.; sister, Cerelina (Melvin) Perry of Kaneohe, Hawaii; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Services took place Dec. 27 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Wash., with burial at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash. Condolences may be made online at www.rill.com.

Have you tried the CARY LIBRARY site for Houlton, Maine. It lists many people including information on Thomas Iott as he is buried in Houlton. By typing in the SURNAME - IOTT, it will lists all "IOTT'S" listed.

Flavie Hebert (Paul and Flavie Thuot) married 08 Nov 1862 Leavenworth, KS Oliver Jetté (born ca 1827 in Quebec). Flavie Hebert was born 01 April 1844 in Iberville, Quebec. French Canadians.

Hi

Flavie was my Great Grandfather's (Narcisse) Sister. They were From Quebec. Actually their last name was Hebert pronounced "Abear." The family moved to Rochester New York at about 1848. Then moved on to Leavenworth Kansas at about 1858 where Flavie married Oliver.

I believe that I am a decendant of David Delvin Ayotte, and I have been doing some work on the family, and have a list of about 500 names of decendants living in western Canada. Would you have any information on a Marguerite Menard dit Bellerose Rosseau or her daughter elizabeth shortsleeve. Specifically where the name shortsleeve came from? I know Marguerite was married to a Louis Courtemanche and the had 12 children.
