My husband's grandfather, Rosario, spelled his name with a "Y". Of course it probably was done at Ellis Island, but that's the way it's always been spelled in his family. I'm searching for any information on Rosario Yorio who came from Castelccivita (spelling?) I believe he had a brother named Pasquale. He settled in Corning, NY where he worked for the Corning Glass Center in the 30s. He was on the crew who casted the giant 200 inch disc for the telescope on Mount Polomar. He married Giavannina Crisci and his children are Paul, Emma, Lucy, and Tony Yorio. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
